The Coltrane Home is very excited to announce the Second Annual 2016 Coltrane Day Music Festival, bringing music lovers and musicians of all ages back to beautiful Heckscher State Park in Huntington, NY this summer. From jazz to funk, blues, electronic and even hip-hop, there will be something for everyone with spectacular live performances, workshops and community
jams – nothing brings a community together like music!
The 2016 Coltrane Day Music Festival will be bigger and better, featuring an expanded music lineup, arts and crafts, food and sponsor booths to create a richer experience for the attendees, providing a broader appeal to the overall event. Once again, we are proud to be partnering with the Huntington Arts Council and the Town of Huntington. They are still talking about last year’s inaugural Coltrane Day Music Festival, with thousands of people of all ages – attending and participating from across the region to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of “A Love Supreme,” John Coltrane’s immortal masterpiece.
The 2016 Coltrane Day Music Festival is a wonderful opportunity to get your name in front of thousands of attendees while supporting a terrifi c cause: The Coltrane Home in Dix Hills, the historic home of music giants John and Alice Coltrane and where John composed “A Love Supreme” – one of the most influential works of the 20th Century.
All proceeds raised during the 2016 Coltrane Day Music Festival will go directly to supporting the Coltrane Home. Our goal is to restore the Coltrane Home into a museum and cultural center on the site. Expanding critically important music education programs which seek to inspire creativity, help build important life skills, foster tolerance, empower children, and reach economically distressed communities.
Please take a moment to review our sponsorship opportunities and we ask you to choose the level of commitment to support the Coltrane Home. Your support will help ensure we reach our goals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Long Islanders and music lovers everywhere. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 631-223-1361. Please accept our thanks in advance for your support of the 2016 Coltrane Day Music Festival, and for being a part of this important historic effort.
